Daughter Father Relationship
Much is talked about the special bond between the father and daughter. For a daughter the father is always a sense of security which she fulfills. It is important for her to let her father know that she won a competition or she is trying very hard to score in the game of tennis. A father usually has a soft corner for his daughter that is pure love and unconditional. He is also aware of his responsibilities in making her a good human being and goes on to inculcate good values in her. The daughter too wants to emulate her father’s qualities and hence tries hard to abide by his wishes.
A daughter today is highly exposed to a myriad of things including culture, education and career opportunities. The duty of a father is to understand her interests and encourage her in overcoming her failures. Failures are the best lessons learnt early and hence the father must understand that he has a crucial role in helping her to achieve those targets. There are milestones as a toddler, as a schooler and responsibilities multiply as we progress further.
The daughter moves towards the threshold of marriage and the father is filled with emotion. But he also realizes that this is a new bond and the very fact of life that the daughter settles to leave the parents home. This is also the reason the father squeezes all his time to be with his daughter during the growing years. Teenage clashes between father and daughter is also a passing phase.
The teenager is in surge for new vistas in friendship, fashion and exploring life. The protective father warns the child of the impediments in case of incorrect behavior and goes on to being strict with the child. The father also realizes that he still needs time to correct himself and understand the view point of a teenager. Adapting to new changes is also the responsibility of a father.
